I. JOB BRIEF:
IT QA & Project Delivery Specialist is responsible for managing project delivery (from collect phase to handing over phase to application IT team) as assigned which included leading, coordinating and establishing requirements definition and use-case modeling, training. Lead IT QA activities directly. Research and propose IT business/Innovation solution.
II. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Under assignment from IT director/IT Service and Project Delivery Manager to work as a Project Manager to manage the IT project from collect requirement phase till deployment, training, hyper care and project closure then give a handing over by full project documentations to application team to do a IT perfect after support.
- Gather business and system requirements from stakeholders. Prepare/review BRD (Business Requirement Document), SRS (System Requirement Spec), BPD (Blue Print Document) , Feature List (if needed), UAT documents, GBR (General Business Rules) and wire frame for complex UCs (if needed)
- Support BRD, BPD, UAT signoff with business
- Coordinate with IT internal development team or vendor for software development for knowledge/requirement transferring and understanding correctly
- Manage budget of the Project and ensure that spending doesn't exceed the budget
- Work with software vendor partners on IT projects and study/update/implement new technologies/solutions.
- Leading the QA activities for the project/key tasks included preparation testing plan, test script and facilitate the testing with key stakeholder and UAT signoff
- Provide training to business for system improvement and new system as the project required
- Consult business in term of IT technology/solution/process
- Research and propose business/innovation solution to improve productivity/ performance
- Report periodically to the IT Service and Project Delivery Manager on project delivery and risk management
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT Service and Project Delivery Manager/IT Director
- Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Business Information System.
- Obtaining Business and IT knowledge base.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- At least 5 years of working experience with over 2 experienced years in a Project manager role, at least 1 year in Analyzing requirements and at basic knowledge about QA/QC roles.
- Basic knowledge on database such as database schema and SQL query.
- Knowledge of testing approaches and techniques.
- General understanding and experience of business processes as well as an interest to understand a broad range of business models and needs.
- Proactive can-do attitude and strong commitment to deadline.
- Have team leadership skills, project management skills, time management skills, and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of production and business processes to be able to participate in consulting solutions for businesses.
- Active and creative, able to work independently and in groups.
- Specific business domain knowledge is a plus (SAP/sales/POS management, ERP, content management, loyalty, etc.).
